Apply for street trading consent 2025 to 2026
You can apply for a street trading consent at any time, but the consent will expire on 31 March 2026.
Prospective applicants should make themselves familiar with the matters that will be considered when assessing an application. These are found in section 8 of the policy and the assessment framework can be found in appendix 5.
The city centre is defined as the area of the city within and including the A4540 (Inner Ring Road). For an annual consent in this area the “annual city centre” consent fee will apply.
