You will need to tell us the:

• new address you will be moving to
• dates of when you will be moving into Birmingham

You may also need to tell us the address of your previous Birmingham address if you have lived here in the past.

The easiest way to tell us you are moving into Birmingham is through the BRUM account.

Before you start

If you are changing your address because you have bought or sold a property, you will need to know the completion date of any property bought or sold.

You will also need to provide either:

• the name of the person or organisation who has bought your previous property, if relevant

or

• your solicitor's details

If you are changing your address because you are beginning or ending a rental tenancy, you will need your:

• tenancy start and end dates
• landlord's or managing agent's details
