Structure of a CV
Keep your CV to 2 pages. It should not be your life story. If it’s longer, you may have included too much information or used the space poorly.
Every CV should include:
- your name
- contact details
- a personal profile
- a list of relevant skills
If any of these are missing, your CV is less likely to succeed.
Do not include a photo if you’re applying for a job in the UK.
Photos are common in mainland Europe and expected for modelling or acting roles.
